Editorial policy
Rural Concert Review aims to make its writing clear, fair and grounded in what can responsibly be said. We distinguish explanation and opinion, avoid invented detail and welcome specific corrections.
Accuracy and care
We check factual statements against suitable source material before publication and phrase uncertain matters with care. Articles are written for general understanding, not as a substitute for checking details that depend on a particular venue or event.
Independence and corrections
Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. If a reader identifies a possible error, we review the point and correct wording when warranted; readers can send the relevant passage and explanation through the Contact page.
Partnerships and paid material
Paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage or editorial approval.
Images and illustration
Some illustrations may be AI-generated. Where an illustration could be mistaken for documentary imagery, we identify it as an illustration; images are not presented as evidence of a real concert or place.
A concert belongs to its whole setting
The music matters, and so do the room, the sequence and the shared attention around it. Rural Concert Review looks at those parts together.
